  13. There has recently been discussion regarding the legality of using modems
  14. in different countries (e.g. using a US modem in Japan).
  15.  
  16. I will soon be equipping a globetrotting workforce with laptops and
  17. modems.  These folks will be visiting many different countries with the
  18. intention using the modems to access the corporate network.
  19.  
  20. Given that the Sportster, for example, cannot be used in multiple
  21. countries, are there any modems that are certified for use within
  22. multiple countries -- an international modem, as it were.
